Feeling Flush

This commanding detached house, 90s built, had its original timber windows in place. Traditional dark wood stain and yet with some leading detail, so not without character.

The new owner wanted something sleek, stylish, understated and durable. The perfect choice was made, Origin flush sash windows.

We’ve been very excited about this project as it uses several Origin products and we could be happier with the end result. The windows are powder-coated casements made from top grade aluminium. The engineering is precise so the resulting finish oozes quality none more so than in the bay window where the joins and welds speak for themselves and the angles reveal some true character.

Origin casements are incredibly secure and offer great protection from weather meaning that they keep the heat in (or out!). Also, they are extremely low maintenance – cleaned only using a gentle wipe with water.

The sitting room has been complimented with sliding doors, again in the RAL9007 – Silver Grey powder coated finish. This time, the product is from äir, again one of our go-to options for sliding doors.

The front door is a really special piece. It’s tailor-made in the UK by Origin’s precision engineers working in premium aluminium which offers the perfect balance between style, security and ease of maintenance.
