Beautiful Poolside Transformation

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Constable Country lies the charming Maison Talbooth Hotel and Spa. A tranquil haven of peace and tranquillity, we were thrilled to be a part of this exclusive venture.

The spa is ensconced within a garden wall, shielding guests from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, leaving nothing but a stunning vista of sky and trees. The focal point is the magnificent pool and spa building, which boasts perpendicular aïr sliding doors, each featuring a three-pane triple-track. The glazing structure is remarkably unobtrusive when closed, but upon opening, it seamlessly integrates the interior with the natural light and fresh air. The RAL7016 Anthracite coating of the doors complements the stunning red cedar cladding, creating a harmonious blend of form and function. The innovative lift-and-slide technology from aïr enables effortless operation of these sizable doors, which can be moved along the track using just one finger. The front elevation is further enhanced by a tall picture window next to the sliding doors, adding a touch of asymmetry to the design. The tilt-and-turn mechanism of the window provides excellent ventilation, even when the main doors are closed.

Overall, the spa building at Maison Talbooth is a marvel of design, combining beauty and practicality in perfect harmony. It is no wonder that this project has garnered such prestige and admiration.

Spa Area

As we make our way inside the spa, we discover several more Reynaers windows that match the Anthracite colour scheme, including a tilt-and-turn window and several flush-sash casements. These windows have concealed hinges, resulting in slim sightlines and a minimalist appearance.

The treatment rooms are situated towards the rear of the spa and are easily accessible through Seniors Commercial Aluminium doors. These doors feature full-length stainless steel pole handles and have excellent acoustic properties that help to minimize noise disturbance. They also open in an in-out traffic-friendly fashion, allowing them to swing in both directions.

The external doors to the main spa and the treatment rooms, including emergency exits, are also fitted with Seniors Commercial Aluminium frames. These doors are designed to handle medium to high traffic and offer exceptional thermal efficiency and security.

Overall, every detail of the spa has been meticulously thought out with both functionality and aesthetics in mind, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and serenity that is truly unmatched.
