A Colchester Edwardian property reworked with two adjacent Smarts bifold door sections, opening completely in summer, with exposed brickwork creating a striking contrast.

⤢ Ok, the project started with a beautiful house but this project is a testimony to finish. The modern kitchen returns on Edwardian houses are notoriously dark and extension projects need to give this careful consideration when planning out the final goal. The combination of two adjacent glass sections is striking. Again, the Smarts bifold doors open easily, and the whole interior is on show through the warmer months. The Smarts Alitherm 300 bifold design allows for sections to act simply as a door, allowing simple egress during the winter.
Exposed brickwork against the glazing blurs where the room stops and the garden starts, leaving the occupants feeling warm and yet somehow out in the open air. The sliding thresholds are finished flush, so one space runs into the other.
"We are so pleased with our replacement french doors. This is now the fourth time we have used Windows Etc and as ever are really pleased with the result. Thanks to everyone who helped us get exactly what we wanted but a special thanks go to Luke and Jack for their no fuss no mess installation."
"We came back to Windows Etc after moving earlier this year to a new property. We needed new doors both front and back and some glazing replaced in existing doors. Yet again an outstanding team who go above and beyond and the result is stunning."
"Wonderful service and product. Just had a back door fitted and can't fault the whole process. I was kept informed, installation was easy and clean and Luke and Jack very polite and helpful."
