We could say this all the time, but it’s not often we’re totally blown away by a project, and credit must also go to Alan Bender Builders for such a superb job; we’re delighted to work in partnership with them again.
One of the happier side effects of a world pandemic is the desire and ability to work at home. A lot of us have rethought how we work, and this is what came of it here. The owners of this home had a neglected and under-used double garage at the rear of their property, and decided to put it to good use. A home office with views to the garden and a home gymnasium.
Not only does this building have the wow factor from the outside, it also provides plenty of amazed looks from within. The commercial aluminium gable glazing is the making of it. It frames the view so perfectly and allows that lucky desk jockey the ability to take in the view and sky whilst working.
The gym downstairs benefits from aluminium lift and slide doors, finished like the curtain walling in RAL 9005 matt black. The strength and durability of these doors belie the ease with which they move. Nothing like a bit of fresh air to accompany that gym work out! We’ve loved this installation, and we can’t stop looking at the photos!
