It’s great to see what can be achieved with this ambitious project. A 1980s build which formerly had a small kitchen. Their extension project sought to combine dining, living and kitchen areas into one to bring the family together into a wider social space. The sheer width of the glass on this project is amazing. The floor runs straight into the patio area which makes for a great summer fun area with a barbecue and a table tennis table.
Since the room is very large and deep and also a few feet below the main garden level, the owners decided to add more light and sky with the addition of two roof lanterns. Incidentally, this installation won ‘Installation of the Month’ from the supplier!
